Terms of Service

Effective Date: July 8, 2026  ·  Last Updated: July 8, 2026

Important Notice

StackEasy is a credit optimization and card-management platform. We are not a bank, lender, financial advisor, credit repair organization, or consumer reporting agency. Please read these Terms carefully — they include an arbitration agreement and class-action waiver that affect your legal rights.

1. Who We Are & Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and StackEasy, Inc., a Florida corporation ("StackEasy," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of stackeasy.ai, app.stackeasy.ai, and our related tools, dashboards, alerts, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is intended for users located in the United States. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Account & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@stackeasy.ai if you suspect unauthorized access. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.

4. Connecting Your Financial Accounts

StackEasy uses third-party account-connectivity providers — currently Quiltt and MX Technologies — to let you link credit card and financial accounts to the Service. These connections are tokenized and read-only: StackEasy does not see or store your account login credentials, Social Security number, or full account numbers. Your use of these connections is also subject to Quiltt's and MX's own terms and privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy for more on how linked-account data is handled.

5. Free & Premium Plans; Billing

StackEasy offers a free tier and a paid Premium tier. Premium is billed at $25/month, auto-renewing monthly, processed by our payment processor, Stripe. Your full card number is handled by Stripe and is never stored on StackEasy's systems.

6. Affiliate Relationships & How We Make Money

StackEasy may earn compensation when you apply for a credit card or other financial product through links on our Service. This compensation may influence the order in which cards or products are displayed. We disclose this relationship because we believe transparency matters — our recommendations are still built to help you find products that fit your goals, not just the highest-paying offer.

7. AI-Powered Recommendations

Some features of the Service use automated processing, including AI/machine-learning models, to generate recommendations, insights, or summaries (for example, card suggestions or spending insights). These outputs may contain errors, be incomplete, or be out of date, and they are not financial, credit, tax, or legal advice. You should independently verify any AI-generated output before relying on or acting on it. StackEasy is not responsible for decisions you make based on AI-generated content.

8. Not a Credit Repair Organization; Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Important Disclaimer

StackEasy is NOT a "credit repair organization" as defined by the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA). We do not repair, dispute, correct, or alter your credit report or credit record, and we do not contact credit bureaus on your behalf. We provide educational card-management tools and information only.

StackEasy is also not a "consumer reporting agency" under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and does not furnish data to credit bureaus. Any credit-score or credit-report information displayed in the Service is provided to you by your linked accounts or third-party data sources for informational purposes only.

9. Your Responsibilities

You agree not to:

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by StackEasy or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended personal purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service, or use our content or Service to train, fine-tune, or benchmark any artificial intelligence or machine-learning model, without our prior written consent.

Feedback: If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant StackEasy an unrestricted, royalty-free, perpetual license to use them without any obligation to you.

11. Privacy

Our collection and use of your information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

12. Service Changes

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, including features available under Premium. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

13. Disclaimers of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY RECOMMENDATION, INSIGHT, OR CREDIT OUTCOME WILL BE ACHIEVED.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STACKEASY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR CREDIT SCORE DECLINE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

StackEasy's total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid StackEasy in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) US $100.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold StackEasy, its officers, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your misuse of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms or applicable law; (c) content you submit through the Service; or (d) your infringement of any third party's rights.

16. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Most concerns can be resolved quickly. Please contact us first at hello@stackeasy.ai so we can try to resolve any dispute informally.

If a dispute is not resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except as set out below. The arbitration shall take place in Florida (or another mutually agreed location, or by phone/video/written submission where permitted by AAA rules).

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

18. Termination

By you: You may close your account at any time in account settings or by emailing hello@stackeasy.ai.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, pose a security or legal risk, or as required by law.

Effect of termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. If you had a paid Premium period already in effect, you retain access through the end of that period unless termination is for material breach of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Dispute Resolution/Arbitration, and this Miscellaneous section — survive termination.

19. Miscellaneous

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms with an updated "Effective Date." Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (such as by email or in-app notice).
